Rainbow's Gold

I scampered to find a bucket,
     to catch the rainbows gold,
With gleeful thoughts I eyed the spot,
     Where the boundless treasures flowed;
Yet when I reached the very place,
     That I thought the treasure lay,
Not a trace of gold awaited me,
     And the rainbow flew away!
